I often talk about the importance of using data from security awareness anti-phishing work to understand attack and threat trends. Here's a great example from Beauceron Security's AI-powered automated e-mail analysis and triage tool. This chart shows the average score of the e-mails reported by our team year to date on a scale of 1 to 10 (least likely to be phishing to most likely). It shows the ebb and flow of how active criminals are, the quality of the attacks, the gaps in our e-mail filter that fluctuate and the effectiveness of our team.
