Our Canadian Cluepers spent last Friday lakeside while we had our quarterly all hands & summer event! It was a perfect backdrop to enjoy amazing food, birthday celebrations, jetskiing, games, and team bonding. Cheers to our awesome team who kept us well taken care of all day long! ☀

Thank you TIME for inviting Cluep to the TIME100 Ai Impact Awards. It was fun to reconnect with Ai legend Yann LeCun. Our ability to teach machines how to see like humans, including us training Cluep’s image recognition algorithm in 2016, wouldn’t have been possible without Turing award recipient Yann LeCun’s work on computer vision in the 1980s.

I had a blast sharing my love for Ai and Design at DesignX Community alongside Matthew Richmond and Kris Woyzbun. Shoutout to Emily Krause for the excellent moderation and Preet Singh for bringing together an incredible group of design leaders. Here’s my fav thought from our discussion: People drive the creativity; machines enhance the process. Language models and diffusion models act as a design partner. You and I don’t need to be a solitary genius anymore. I can now work in tandem with an Ai, to quickly explore new ideas and create new works of art not possible before, or would have otherwise taken too long. The way these Ai models are deployed is to give you an extra set of hands instead of replacing your hands.

Exploring the Impact and Applications of AI With Cluep and a Real Movie Villain While movie plots around the futuristic capabilities of AI have been at the center of blockbusters for many years, recent advancements in AI models that can chat, browse, and act like humans in the digital landscape is transforming the industry at a rapid pace. Adweek sits down with Karan Walia, Cofounder and CEO of Cluep, and Esai Morales, an award-winning actor, activist and performing artist known for his wide ranging film and TV career with acclaimed roles in Bad Boys, La Bamba, Ozark, and most recently, Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 opposite Tom Cruise where he plays Gabriel, a powerful terrorist serving, and empowered by, a rogue AI. Karan and Esai will discuss how AI has jumped off the big-screen and into our day to day lives. Learn how AI technology is enabling movie makers to remove barriers to ticket sales, deliver custom consumer experiences and maximize the power of their social networks, and how these opportunities open doors for marketers across other industries.
