On behalf the Canadian Journal of Emergency Management (CJEM), we want thank all the participants joining us today on the first day of the Canadian Emergency Preparedness and Climate Adaptation Convention. Many workshop participants travelled from across Canada, and we are incredibly thrilled to have such a diverse group of experts in the room with us today. This demonstrates a shared commitment to advancing the field of emergency management. Input from today's session will contribute directly to CJEM’s second think tank report, which will be submitted to the Department of National Defence to inform research and drive meaningful policy changes in the areas of emergency preparedness and national security. This workshop is a collaboration between the Canadian Journal of Emergency Management (CJEM), CEPCA, and funded by the Department of National Defense through the Mobilizing Insights in Defense and Security (MINDS) grant. Thank you to the CJEM team and Scott Cameron for making this happen!
