In 2022, Canada lost 7,525 lives to opioid-related deaths—a tragedy that continues to grow, especially among Black youth, with a 36.5% rise in overdose deaths during the pandemic. We remember those we’ve lost, support those left behind, and stand united in promoting recovery and change.
