    I am choosing curiosity over fear to take on this next task. I do not want this, and it is a process I must complete. It will be a long and arduous journey, and I have been training all these years to build my stamina and strength The plans are expected to change as new information arises, and I am comfortable with pivoting I will need mental fortitude, and I have a toolkit curated for building resilience I am exactly who I need to be in this moment! And so are you - for all your own reasons.

    Replacing an individual employee can cost companies anywhere from 50% to 200% of the employee's annual salary. Women, especially women of color, are worn out from discrimination in corporate America. Many of them are leaving to launch their own businesses. Opting out of: ❌ being over-worked and under-recognized ❌ microaggressions ❌ tone policing ❌ lack of flexibility and remote options ❌ “bro culture” ❌ lack of visible female role models in the organization ❌ limited self-expression ❌ no or very little paid maternity leave ❌ lack of salary transparency ❌ gaslighting and invalidation of experiences of discrimination ❌ exclusion from informal networks or social gatherings that contribute to professional advancement ❌ workplace harassment ❌ lack of commitment to employee wellbeing ❌ unpaid labor (DEI work, ERG, or culture/team morale contributions) ❌ double standards in performance evaluations ❌ intersectional exclusion ❌ finding out that her male peers make more than her ❌ inadequate resources and support for addressing menstrual and hormonal health ❌ lack of meaningful talent retention strategies ❌ performative allyship ❌ the “broken rung” ❌ corporate salaries not keeping up with increasing cost of living ❌ implicit biases affecting hiring, promotions, and opportunities ❌ lack of trust in HR I don't know a single woman who hasn't experienced at least 2 items on this list.
