This fall, Axiom Builders will break ground on The Motley in Nashville, TN, with IPB Properties and Nashville-based HASTINGS Architecture. The three-tower mixed-use development will bring nearly 1,200 rental homes and over 70,000 square feet of locally inspired commercial spaces to Midtown, transforming the former dairy factory site into a vibrant community hub. CityReach Care Society supports families preparing for the school year with their annual Back-to-School Blast! This week, +20 of our employees and summer interns had the opportunity to support this initiative by organizing 1,000 backpacks with supplies, snacks, dental kits, and additional necessities. Thank you Vancouver Chinatown Foundation for a strong partnership! It was a privilege to collaborate and help bring Bob & Michael's Place to life. An innovative social housing project in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, the project provides 231 new affordable homes alongside a 50,000 square foot integrated health centre for the entire community. The 10-storey building brought together all levels of government and helped set a new standard of community-oriented social housing in Vancouver. Learn more: bobandmichaelsplace.org

On Friday, the federal government announced over $40.7 million through the Affordable Housing Fund (AHF). The funds will help build and repair 3,400 affordable homes in Burnaby and New Westminster.    We were honoured to host this announcement on-site at YWCA Marion’s Place, our project in partnership with Qualex-Landmark™ and YWCA Metro Vancouver in Burnaby, BC. Central Park House by Bosa Properties is taking its place as the landmark between Vancouver and Metrotown. Now under construction, the 6-storey wood-frame development and adjacent 3-storey townhome block comprise 91 thoughtfully designed homes, ranging from studio to three-bedroom units. Meet Andrew Ha, CPA, Financial Systems Manager. After graduating from post-secondary school, Andrew launched his accounting career in audit and consulting. During this time, he completed his CPA, gained exposure to different businesses, both local and international, and learned from a variety of accounting professionals. While consulting gave him well-rounded experience, Andrew was interested in collaborating with a team long-term. He joined Axiom Builders in 2021 seeking to marry his passion for problem-solving and people with his background in accounting and consulting. As our Financial Systems Manager, Andrew is focused on optimizing our processes and financial systems so our team can work more effectively and efficiently. His day-to-day is more people-focused, problem-solving, and planning than number-crunching, balancing short-term tasks with long-term projects. Andrew feels fortunate to have the trust and support to pursue new ideas, build tools, and persist through challenges, surrounded by supportive people and inspirational leaders, driving his career forward. The residential project offers over 300 units between the 29-storey market tower and 6-storey wood-frame rental building in West Coquitlam. We’re excited to partner with The Sharing Farm Society and kick off the new planting season as their first group of volunteers! The Sharing Farm grows fruit and vegetables to support food security through the Richmond Food Bank and other community meal programs. Since the early 90’s, the organization has donated over 350,000 lbs of produce, donating an average of 20,000 lbs annually! Our team had a fantastic time at the Richmond farm learning about sustainable agriculture and assisting with various field tasks, such as planting lettuce, soil fertilization, and weeding.
