Amazing video by Peak Design and thanks to Vanessa Ferguson for sharing this with me. I'm a big believer in manufacturing sustainably and improving quality of life for others through the sale of consumer goods, as is everyone at Aurea. Too often we hear about how businesses increase profits at the expense of others but this video is a prime example of how capitalism should work, because as this video states: "happy people are great for business". It's just how business is done now. Customer expectations have changed and it's the right thing to do. I encourage everyone to watch and get familiar with Fair Trade certification 👇

Last night our 2 week Shine 2.0 Kickstarter campaign concluded with over 600 backers and $405,000 in pre-orders! This is with only 2 months of preparation and the result of the sole efforts of the campaign's sales and marketing team. We hit our $30,000 goal within 20 minutes of launch and got featured in The Verge, Interesting Engineering and more. A massive thank you to the Aurea and Russell Marketing teams for all the hard work that was put into this campaign and anyone who supported it. To get this level of validation in such a short time frame is just beyond amazing. Excited to see the continued momentum!
