This effort not only strengthens our ties with NorWest Health Co-op but also reinforces our commitment to the local community. 🤝 In line with Arctic Co-ops’ fight against food insecurity, we’ve partnered with Second Harvest once again to deliver essential groceries to northern communities. This year the Ikurraq Food Bank in Rankin Inlet, received over 11,000 pounds of groceries, as one of many recipients! The video showcases the delivery of grocery crates to the food bank, a vital resource for the community. Recently featured in Nunavut News, Brian ensures efficient cargo shipping from Montreal's South Shore and other locations. NSSI transports large, heavy items like food, construction materials, and heavy equipment that can't be flown. Arctic sealift season runs from mid-June to late October, sometimes into November.
