The 2023 AECEO Provincial Conference was intentionally planned to be a space for ECEs to learn together and support one another, aiming to bring the Ontario early years community together, regardless of the setting they work in or area of the province they live in. One year later, we invite you to join us in revisiting the 2023 Provincial Conference with a very special AECEO panel discussion on Joy, Curiosity, & Hope! On Thursday, May 9th (tomorrow!) at 7PM, join Conference Committee members, Conference presenters and the AECEO team for a chat about the making of and the impact of this unique event planned for ECEs by ECEs. This session will also include a guided walk-through of the recently launched AECEO Provincial Conference Hub. The Hub is exclusive to AECEO members. Join or renew your membership to gain access to this and more member benefits today! In 2021, the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC) in partnership with the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario (AECEO) launched an anti-racism project titled "Centering the Voices of Racialized Mothers and Educators in Shaping Child Care Response and Recovery in Ontario". We are now in the third year of the project and as we gradually move close to the end of the project this month, we are exploring the possibilities of sustaining the project's outcomes and impacts when the funding ends. As the project leader, I shared my perspectives for sustainability with the OCBCC Council on Thursday and it was great to hear various positive thoughts and suggestions on how to move the work forward. To every individual and organizations who have supported and contributed to this project through consultations, story sharing, creation of digital videos, working group, community forums and/or MP/MPP meetings, we say thank you! Your contribution means a lot to us, and we look forward to having you at the Networking Meetings on Wednesday. Your perspectives on how to make the project's outcomes and impact sustainable will be greatly appreciated. Please see the networking meeting details below: Time: Wed March 6th 12:00 pm & 7:00pm March 6, 12pm: https://lnkd.in/euy2d3fq March 6, 7pm: https://lnkd.in/e23CUX9q Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g_vbSp6k #projectmanagement #antiracism #mothers #women #childcare #impacts #outcomes #communityengagement #networkingevent #collaboration #sustainability Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC) Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario (AECEO) WAGE / FEGC Adebola Adefioye
