We are excited to see such a collaborate community effort kick-off in Saint John with the intent to build an inclusive dignified supportive housing community.
What a great day to announce a new affordable housing project coming to Saint John! Today we announced the new Sunnyside Tiny Home Community project with partners David Alston, Steve Belyea and Saint John Energy President & CEO Ryan Mitchell. This tiny home community is modeled off the 12 Neighbours community in Fredericton. The homes will be built by their construction team, Neighbourly Homes, and will meet the unique needs of people in Saint John. We're excited to get to work on this long-term affordable housing solution, possible in part because of our role in the United Way Maritimes Affordable Housing Division. Many thanks to Marcel LeBrun of 12 Neighbours, and City of Saint John Deputy Mayor John MacKenzie who were both on-hand to speak about the impact this project will have. #StrongerTogether #UnitedForImpact
