Coming off of an 11-win season in 2023, the Cleveland Browns will be looking to make a deep run this season. And they have the roster to do it if their quarterback play takes a leap forward behind the arm of Deshaun Watson.
They are getting healthy at the right time, including running back Nick Chubb who has been running full-speed and squatting 500 pounds again, after a season of significant injury unluck. Making a couple of moves in the wide receiver room, the Browns added another playmaker in wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, and they continue to look to lock down Amari Cooper for another year or two.
Defensively, they are returning every key contributor from a year ago while also upgrading their linebacker room from Anthony Walker Jr. to Jordan Hicks. There are no excuses for this unit not to be one of the more dominant defenses in the NFL again in 2024.
