Exit the Dragon, Enter the Snake? πŸ‰πŸšͺ🐍🧨

The Dragon has taken its exit for another 12-year cycle, until Jupiter goes around the sun again.
And the Snake is now here.

Elon X Bowie X Norton? πŸš€πŸ’‘πŸ“±πŸ“²πŸ“΅

Jake
has started the Chinese New Year of the Snake off with a bang with his newest You Tube called '
Elon X Bowie X Norton':-)
I just saw 'Complete Unknown' at the cinema on Monday night where Ed Norton plays Pete Seeger in that movie.
And Freeman Fly's old mate Dan Fogler plays Albert Grossman in the same movie.

Did these
eggheads reset the clock as the Year of the Snake started?

The Snake is Back from Tomorrow? πŸπŸ§¨πŸŽ†

Having just completed one whole 60-year cycle of the Dragon zodiac (that is if I make it until midnight) I'm kind of sad the Year of the Dragon is coming to an end and the Year of the Snake is about to begin.

Why does my Year of the Dragon token look like Jupiter?
I guess this fortune cookie message above is right, but when isn't it the time to try something new?

Bryce Courtenay's novel 'Fortune Cookie'
Looks like even Bryce can't get it right when it comes to when the Chinese New Year starts, because sometimes it's not February, it can fall in January like this Chinese New Year does.
Goes to show that you can't believe everything you read from a Fortune Cookie:-P
I see that Bryce Courtenay passed away in 2012, the last Year of the Dragon.
Surprisingly, fortune cookies are a Japanese invention that really got going in San Francisco, so I've heard on a few recent podcasts and reading the never wrong Wikipedia.
"Makoto Hagiwara of Golden Gate Park's Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco is reported to have been the first person in the U.S. to have served the modern version of the cookie when he did so at the tea garden in the early 1900s. The fortune cookies were made by a San Francisco bakery, Benkyodo."

Gee, if I was to ever visit San Fransico, I should probably check that Tea House out and get a fortune cookie, too.

I wonder what my fortune holds for 2025 and if I'll ever make it to San Francisco?
And will it be the Year of the Shark, too?-)
Allegiant Stadium and Las Vegas

One Month Until I'm in Vegas with The Sharks? πŸŽ²πŸˆπŸ‰πŸ¦ˆ

It's going to be weird watching football in the stadium on a Saturday night in Vegas knowing that the game is being beamed live to Australia at 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
The Cronulla Sharks are
getting ready for
Las Vegas
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be heading to the USA to watch my footy team play a game that actually counted for points on the footy ladder.
I'm glad I bought my tickets early, as I see that the stadium is already selling out fast.
I guess if The Sharks lose in Vegas, I can always take my shirt off and pretend I'm a Panthers fan having recently modified my old panther tattoo:-)
I think they call that an each way bet in Vegas?-)
