We’re very happy to announce that our 1st collaboration with Disney is finally out! “Não É Um Monstro” (“It’s Not A Monster”) is a short film developed by Disney, scripted and produced by Zombie Studio for Nubank, one of Brazil’s largest financial services platform. The focus of this storytelling is to teach young people about financial education. Ever since Lina was born, she’s lived with her parents, their curious and charismatic monsters and a young monster of her own. The world has way too much to offer and is always triggering Lina to want things such as toys, instruments, experiences and much more object. Luckily these monsters can materialize what the family wants and needs, but there’s a harsh consequence to this action. With every financial decision, whether a positive or negative one, the lessons in this film will pave the way to a happy ending. Created 100% in CGI, this is a project that took us over a year of teamwork, overcoming challenges, all to achieve the craft of a Disney piece of work. It’s a beautiful, educational animation, with a story told in a fun way, suited for parents and children. You don’t want to miss watching it!

Fresh out of the oven is our new project, one that’s been in the works for years! This project has a very special meaning to Vintage Culture and Zombie’s Director Paulo, who was keen on writing the script for this music video, too. The storytelling is about a man that doesn’t want to be seen as a hero at all. He’s just human, goes through ups and downs, tries to make it through the day, just living, dealing, and struggling with life, day by day, believing in himself. This man is Lukas, a.k.a Vintage Culture. To add to this story, we wanted a fresh look, an outstanding visual, so we mixed 3D with digital painting to achieve this differentiated piece of work. It isn’t Zombie’s first collaboration with Vintage Culture. Back in 2020, we worked on the music video “Deep Inside of Me”. An incredible collab between Zombie Studio and Vintage Culture, “Hero” (feat. Emery Taylor), is out now in all the platforms!

Join our character’s journey through several moments in his life, and despite the bumpy waves, it’s a journey he will never forget. Neither will we. It's a very sensitive and inspiring story to tell in a playful way. Our goal was to create an animation with simplicity and elegance in an aesthetic design. All that combines with the empathetic content, bringing the viewer closer to the experience of the IDD community and giving everyone a glimpse of their lives. Teaming up with Klick Health and audio production company Canja Audio Culture for this masterpiece, we had about 130 artists at Zombie Studio working in production (the characters and sets were handmade) and post-production brought the stop-motion animation to life. Many puppets were created, including 11 versions of Robert, made of steel and aluminum (for the skeleton), coated with foam, silicone and finalized with resin 3D printing. varying from 10.2cm-20cm in height, from age five to 47 - from which 3 made it to the cut), and 8 miniature sets (such as Café Joyeux’s trademark storefront and interior – with around 400 props such as tiny props, like croissants, coffee cups, and chairs). We invite you to sit back, relax and watch our latest project. It’s a tearjerker, it’s a special one, and we couldn’t be more proud of this animation.
