As part of Black History Month in the UK, we were honoured to welcome David Olusoga OBE to our London office for an insightful discussion on Black history. David, an acclaimed presenter, historian, and Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester, explored this year’s Black History Month theme, ‘reclaiming narratives’. He highlighted the importance of correcting historical inaccuracies and bringing forward untold stories of Black heritage, sharing examples from his impactful work. Our colleagues valued the chance to deepen their understanding of Black history in the UK and posed a wide range of questions during the discussion. A heartfelt thanks to David for such a meaningful session and to everyone from The Fidelis Partnership who attended.
