  • Curious about understanding non-verbal cues in Morocco or the appropriate way to greet a Bulgarian colleague? At Yazaki EMEA, we certainly are. As part of our “Act with Respect” campaign, we are hosting cross-cultural talks. We are exploring the diverse cultures of Morocco, Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria, Türkiye, and Japan in order to broaden our horizons and to embrace Yazaki’s cultural diversity. Enhancing cultural awareness means understanding our own cultural identity and accepting those of others. It helps to break down barriers, enhance interpersonal skills, and build meaningful connections. #Yazaki #YazakiEMEA #AutomotiveIndustry

  • Meet Adriana Barta, Production Planning and Reporting Coordinator at Yazaki Romania Adriana, could you share some details about your career at Yazaki? I started my journey 16 years ago as an Operator. In less than two years, I was promoted to the Production Trainer position. In 2011, after gaining experience especially from the constant exchanges with my colleagues, I became a Production Line Leader. More responsibility, more challenges and working with more people followed in 2015 with my new position as Production Coordinator. Together, we achieved great results! My enthusiasm in trying new things, working more efficiently and organizational topics remained. And I still wanted to be close to the production team. So, in 2002 I advanced to my current position of Production Planning & Reporting Coordinator. What makes working at Yazaki special to you? For me, Yazaki is about ‘us’, meaning all my colleagues, beginning with people at the local production lines to plant managers, colleagues from factories abroad and from Japan. From my experience, we are all treated equally, act ‘One for all, all for one’ in both good and hard times. What does the Yazaki Spirit mean to you in your daily working life? To me, the Yazaki Spirit embodies the passion with which we make things happen. It stands for commitment, loyalty and respect. I enjoy seeing that it truly exists in our work and our day-to-day activities. #Yazaki #YazakiEMEA #AutomotiveIndustry #Team

  • This September, Poland was hit by one of the worst floods in recent years. Heavy rainfall caused dramatic damage in many places. Towns such as Stronie Śląskie suffered the most: After the shaft of a flood tank broke, water inundated the city, almost completely destroying houses and infrastructure. As Yazaki community, we believe that together we can make a difference. To do so, our Polish team recommends a verified collection organized by the humanitarian organization Polish Red Cross to help flood victims rebuild their cities and return to normality. • To bring a touch of Nippon culture to Yazaki Serbia, the team on site created a special ‘Japanese Corner’ within the factory. It offers employees a deeper connection both to the roots of the company and the diverse culture of the Land of the Rising Sun. The area features a fan adorned with the Japanese flag, intricate origami creations, and various other cultural artifacts. A whiteboard shows ""Japanese wonders"" with intriguing facts about national sports, food, religion, and traditions. Here, colleagues can learn about the tea ceremony, Matsuri (festivals), Japanese gardens, and brouse through books or dictionaries. By offering a cosy space for conversation, enjoying a beverage, or simply taking a break, the Japanese Corner is bringing Japan a little closer to Serbia. #Yazaki #YazakiEMEA #AutomotiveIndustry #Japan
