🚀 Great News! We've officially launched our FttH rollout in the city of Genk, in collaboration with our partners EQUANS and BKC . We are focusing our initial rollout around local schools, strategically planning the construction during the summer holidays to minimize impact for the citizens. 🤝 In partnership with the city, we're dedicated to build the future Wyre Gigabit network in a conscious and thoughtful approach. 🏙️ A special moment for our team was having the Mayor Wim Dries joining our CEO Micha Berger to oversee the progress right on the streets, affirming our shared commitment to enhancing city infrastructure thoughtfully and responsibly. Wim Dries: “Genk has the ambition to become future-proof, and fast internet connections are part of that. The rollout of FTTH by Wyre is an important step in this direction. We are pleased that the work has started. On-site, I already noticed that there is the necessary attention to safety and quality. An open network ensures that Genk is ready for the future.”

📣Exciting news!  Wyre, Proximus, Telenet and Fiberklaar have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a potential future collaboration on the further deployment of fiber networks in Flanders. This potential collaboration aims to increase access to high-speed gigabit networks. 🚀 Working together will ensure that more consumers benefit from high-speed gigabit networks, leading to a broader and faster fiber deployment while reducing disruption for citizens. 🌐 Ensuring ultrafast, stable, and robust connectivity for everyone is a common challenge for operators, regulators, and authorities. WKF plays a crucial role in our the rollout of the FTTH network, bringing invaluable experience and expertise. They not only demonstrate the necessary competencies but also exhibit the required flexibility and commitment to continuous improvement, which are of immense value to us! 

Yesterday, we celebrated another milestone in our pursuit of innovation by signing a partnership with Allinq Digital - and we did so in an equally innovative way using virtual reality! ✍✅ Wyre and Allinq Digital will be working together to elevate the quality of fiber optic installations. Allinq's 'In Control' self-assessment tool enables contractors to ensure fiber cables are placed at the correct depth and position by capturing real-time data with iPhones or iPads, which is automatically analyzed to guarantee top-notch quality control.
