Our colleagues Ilse Van Autreve and Evi Thonnon look back on an inspiring #hrdesign conference in Bruges! The overall theme the participants worked around was HR FUSION: how HR explores the fusion of cultures, values and talents that shape the modern workplace. We invited some HR professionals to discuss what leadership looks like in this context. A new perspective or a reshuffle of key basic leadership ingredients? The overall conclusion: * back to basics: respect, courageous dialogue and communication * aiming for a connection where 'the sense of belonging' is more important than 'just fitting in'. * dare to be vulnerable, authentic, caring, empathic * but keep in mind that the organisation's objectives must also be achieved #listentoconnect #randstadrisesmartbe #hrfusion #leadership HRmagazine Randstad RiseSmart

For the 3rd time in a row, Randstad RiseSmart Belgium was a proud partner of #HRTECH, in the meantime known as THE HR event of the year 💥 Did we share insights on data and technology? Absolutely, but also on 'not getting disconnected from our body, emotions, your feelings, your creativity,...' During our lunch & learn table, hosted by Jens De Boeck and Ilse Van Autreve, we debated with clients on the punchline 'people data, looking to the future or the past?' Curious how you look at this. In our breakout room 'next gen skills', Bernadette Laermans and Ilse Van Autreve made sure that chairs were held in the air and the ground started shaken! 😄 Indeed, the message was clear, we need to embrace the technology of our body as well.. and we got the data (we literally felt it)! It became mouse-silent once Tania De Decker starting sharing more information around why data matter for ED&I and why it's all about transforming the right data, combined with some intuition, into actionable decisions.
