Celebrating Excellence in Logistics at the Logistics Hall of Fame Gala ✨ Last Friday, the Logistics Hall of Fame Gala brought together more than 200 international guests at the Erich Klausener Hall of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport in Berlin. It was an inspiring evening honoring the remarkable contributions shaping logistics and supply chain management worldwide. Key highlights of the event: - The inventors of the Mobile Robotic Fulfillment System, Mick Mountz, Peter Wurman, and Raffaello D'Andrea, were inducted into the Hall of Fame for revolutionizing intralogistics with their innovative use of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for Kiva Systems (now: Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics). - Hendrik Kramer, founder of FERNRIDE, received the Logistics Leader of the Year Award 2024 for his pioneering work in autonomous logistics solutions. - The humanitarian organization Strategies For Northern Development (SND) from Kenya was awarded the Lynn C. Fritz Medal for Excellence in Humanitarian Logistics for their impactful projects.
