Seventh Annual Senior Briefing and Luncheon | August 16, 2024
It’s almost time for my favorite event of the year, our Annual Senior Briefing and Health Fair in Carson!
I’m honored to host this event every year at the Carson Community Center. We bring together older Americans from across our communities to share helpful information and resources, offer free health screenings, vaccinations, and check ups, and more!
This year, we’ll have:
- Free Eye Exam
- Free Blood Pressure Check
- Free Diabetes Screenings
- Free Dental Screening
We’ll also be serving a free, hot meal!

End-of-Year Legislative Briefings
Every year, my office hosts an End-of-Year Legislative Briefing, where I talk about my work in Washington and Los Angeles for our communities. This year, we held two End-of-Year Legislative Briefings: On Saturday, December 16th in San Pedro, and Sunday, December 17th in Long Beach.

Annual Senior Briefing and Luncheon
Thank you to everyone who came to my Sixth Annual Senior Briefing and Luncheon on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at the Carson Community Center.
We had our largest event ever, with over 1,200 older Americans in attendance for health screenings, entertainment, a free lunch, and an update about our work for California’s 44th Congressional District.
We can’t wait for next year!
