Warna (Hindu)

Warna utawi Varṇa (Sanskrit: वर्ण, romanized: varṇa), ring paindikan agama Hindu,[1] nganggit ring idéologi brahmana saking tingkatan ring kelas parakrama.[2][3] Idéologi kanikayang ring susastra sekadi Manusmriti,[1][4][5] sané ngakepah paindikan parakrama manados papat warna utawi kasengguh caturwarna luiré:[1][6]
- Warṇa Brahmana : pandita, guru, miwah ilmuwan
- Warṇa Kesatria : pameréntah, balayuda miwah pegawai pameréntah.
- Warṇa Waisya : petani, bandéga miwah pedagang.[7]
- Warṇa Shudras : seka parakrama sané ngayahin krama liyanan minakadi pelayan miwah buruh.
Sekaa sané rumasuk ring silih tunggil saking papat warna utawi kelas punika kaparabin sawarna. Dané sané nénten rumasuk ring papat warna punika kaparabin awarna.[8][9]
