An Alternative Approach
Software-defined robotics systems offer a future-proof strategy for RAS in both commercial and government markets. Traditionally, high-level, user-facing capabilities like GPS-denied navigation or obstacle avoidance were inextricably tied to specific vendor systems. We believe the industry can (and must) do better.
Our software platform consists of two core components: AuterionOS—a real-time, Linux-based operating system—and a PX4-based flight control software solution. With this platform, we are building the infrastructure where autonomous capabilities, sensors, payloads, and new AI algorithms can pollinate across a diverse fleet of vehicles made by different manufacturers.
