Senior Media Officer

We're looking for a Senior Media Officer in our dynamic team. You’ll have an eye for opportunities to promote the department’s priorities, a nose for a great story that captures an audience’s attention, and will play a key role in delivering creative, engaging content and managing media issues in a way that helps shift the narrative and change behaviour.

You’ll lead project teams and the delivery of proactive media strategies that highlight the department’s key priorities and achievements, while managing incoming media inquiries and contributing to a team culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in communications, journalism or public relations, demonstrate innovative thinking, and excel in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

As the Senior Media Officer you'll play a key role in delivering creative, engaging content and managing media issues in a way that helps shift the narrative and change behaviour.
