About The Role
You will play an important role in supporting and advancing council communications and marketing priority projects. The role will see you advance our client’s communications, media, and engagement portfolio. You will have opportunity to gain valuable project management skills and innovate within a supportive and flexible work environment
The role will be based at the Sale office, but flexible working arrangements are on offer. There is opportunity for full-time or part-time hours, dependant on candidate availability. The salary range is $87-$93k plus super. It’s a maternity leave contract position (8mths) with potential to extend for the right candidate
Duties And Responsibilities
Produce high quality communications content to support the Communications and Media team.
Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of communications projects.
Support community engagement activities.
Deliver robust communications projects.
Improve internal project-based communications efficiencies by keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies.
Skills and Experience
Relevant degree in communications, media, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
Prior experience in planning and implementing communications projects.
Experienced in design and creation software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.)
Proven stakeholder management experience.
Current WWCC & National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
