About The Role

Due to continued growth and success, our client are now seeking a Business Development Manager based in Melbourne. As part of a highly successful National Team your proven sales success engaging with decision makers, and executing a multi-contact relationship building strategy will be critical in this role. The role requires 3 days on the road and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition focus. Solution Selling and Presentations to clients within hospitality, healthcare, education, retail industries etc
  • Grow and manage New Business Pipeline across your targeted area within Victoria. Manage and maintain relationships with the businesses strategic partners
  • Self-generate leads and work with sales team and Key Account Managers to leverage relationships and develop new opportunities
  • Attend company provided business discovery sessions

Ideal Candidate

  • High energy and enthusiastic salesperson
  • Proven Success in New Client Acquisition & Key Account Management
  • Confidence in identifying and liaising with senior stakeholders across B2B sales
  • The tenacity and drive to win in a competitive sales environment
  • Ability to work alone but also collaborate with BDMs and account managers nationally
  • Excellent presentation, communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Current VIC drivers license
  • knowledgeable with various CRM systems
  • Travel within Melbourne. Travel approx 1.5 hrs from the CBD. Own vehicle required

  • $80,000 + Super + $15,000 car allowance + monthly incentives and achievable targets OTE $130,000

They supply, install and maintain Point of Use Water Filtration systems direct from the mains water supply to the commercial, industrial, government and domestic sectors. Established offices in QLD, NSW & VIC. Flexibility to bring in NEW business from any industry or market within NSW, working with a very collaborative team & constantly look for new ways to do better with sales.
