Introducing our Spring 2025 RTW collection, Illumination, presented at Paris Fashion Week. "For Spring we were inspired by Albe Falzon’s beautiful 70s surf film, Morning of the Earth. The film is a celebration of free-spirited surfers whose passion brought them closer to nature. It’s so visually stunning - the way it captures the golden morning light and the colour of nature is just so inspiring. We leant into the aesthetics of the film more than surf itself – the irresistible way the film captures dappled light, the flowing movement of the sea and that feeling of harmony between surfer and nature." "As a kid growing up near the beach in Southern Sydney, I used to go down to the local town hall where they would play surf films like this - I’m talking in the late 70s and early 80s I guess - and everyone would sit on the floor and watch them projected on a screen. I always loved those films, the freedom of the lifestyle and the beautiful way that the sand and the surf interacted with the golden sunlight.” - Nicky Zimmermann, Creative Director. Now Open: Our new store in Saint Barthélemy, located along Rue Du General De Gaulle in Gustavia, has opened. With a corner position, the two-storey, original timber and stone building blends Swedish and French architectural influences, featuring distinctive olive green hurricane shutters, vintage brass handles, and hand-painted signage inspired by Sarah Morris. Presenting Resort 2025 RTW, Crush.   First Look: “I was thinking about the influence that 80’s coming-of-age movies and actors of the era had on my friends and I back when I was at design school in Sydney. Movies like St Elmo’s Fire, The Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink. So many of our style cues were taken from Winona Ryder, Lisa Bonet or Molly Ringwald. We would rummage through vintage stores and create looks that mixed and matched the old with the new, menswear and womenswear - that was our entertainment on the weekends before we went out. For this Resort season we embraced the style and feel-good mood of these movies and tried to bring it together in a fresh, fun and modern way. We worked with soft focus floral prints, leopard print on silk linen organza for prom-like dresses, engineered lace prints - as well as lace as a key texture itself in both key looks and shoes. There’s lots of little icons inspired by the films that run through our details - diary extracts, cassette tapes, records and lipstick that come through in key artwork and in charms. Our denim brings more masculine influences in biker and collegiate jackets and oversized jeans. Tailoring has nods to exaggerated shoulders with twist details. I loved those movies - I still love them.
