Youth Activating Youth was honoured to support, as a major sponsor, the 2024 Multicultural Youth Leadership Conference hosted by Endeavour Youth Australia. With more than 500 students in attendance, this event not only inspired a generation of leaders but also equipped them with the tools to embark on their unique leadership journey, as their most authentic selves. This was a true demonstration of empowering young people, congratulations to EYA for their tremendous leadership in this space. Multicultural Youth Leadership Conference 2024 powered by Endeavour Youth Australia ⚡️ Sponsored by partners MoSocial Impact,Youth Activating Youth & the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation 💡📣 A jam packed day I had the tremendous privilege of being a part of! 💫 Personal highlights for me include : •Meeting student leaders from Manor Lakes P12 College,my high school from way back when 🥹 - had meaningful conversations with these student leaders. Once upon. time I was in their shoes too,I was Year 11 student leader in high school. Now I’ve built from that experience and am a leader in the community. Great to see the next generation of leaders that started in a similar spot to me when I was 16. Definitely a full circle moment. 💖 •Special shout out to Teachers - during my time on stage,I called out Teachers and Education staff to stand up. I had everyone in the room clap for our everyday public servants, our Teachers! 👏🏽 Teachers don’t get thanked enough for shaping our next generation. They are our biggest investments being the profession behind every other profession. On stage I commended Teachers with the quote ‘Behind every amazing Doctor, Lawyer, Public servant was once upon a time a Teacher’ 💡✨ •Leading a keynote workshop on a quick goal setting exercise 📝 the value of writing intentional goals down is a great practice. I guided students on intentional prompts having them reflect on breaking down their goals : yearly, seasonally, monthly then daily 💫 Overall, impactful event! And my first speaking engagement for 2024 🎉🥳 Students (Year 6-Year 12) , Teachers, Education staff & facilitators all had an incredible time ☑️🎊 Thank you Mohamed Semra for inviting me to be involved in this conference ⚡️ Thank you Mahamed Ahmed for providing me with the slides and goal framework for the exercise I led ✨ 📍Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre #YouthLeadership #YouthConference #YouthImpact #EndeavourYouthAustralia
