Some of our team recently took part in the annual Woolworths at Work Give Back Day, a volunteering initiative designed to ‘give back’ to our communities and the customers we serve every day. We joined Affinity Education Group - one of Australia’s largest providers of early education and childcare - at 21 of their sites across Australia to help out with cleaning, gardening, and generally tidying up after a busy year. It was a fantastic opportunity to give one of our Woolworths at Work customers ‘the gift of time back’ so that they can focus on what matters most: looking after those in their care. #BetterTogether #GiveBackDay #WoolworthsAtWork #EarlyLearning

As part of our journey towards a better tomorrow, we’ve been working with the Nest charity to take an impactful step towards sustainability and community support. We’re repurposing our reusable plastic bags and weaving them into sleeping mats for those experiencing homelessness. Our team participated in a number of weaving sessions, giving our resources a meaningful purpose and providing much-needed respite for those in need. 💚🌏 #BetterTogether #BetterTomorrow #sustainability Woolworths Group Julie Tattam Stephen Ambrose

We recently had the opportunity to be a part of a truly inspiring “World of Product Management” event hosted by UNSW Women in Technology. It was a privilege to connect with UNSW students passionate about tech and business and share the wonders of Product Management. Students participated in a number of engaging activities and sessions that encouraged innovation and problem-solving and the chance to pick the brains of our WooliesX experts on all things product. We're delighted to have been a part of their journey and are excited to see how they'll help shape the future of Product Management. Thanks to UNSW Women in Technology for this incredible partnership. We look forward to future collaborations that inspire and empower the next generation of tech leaders! 🌐👩💻🚀 #WooliesX #ProductManagement #UNSWWomenInTech #InspiringTechLeaders #UNSWWIT Shanika Perera Petra Gross Matthew Rigley Kathie Fisher Nina Faridshaygan Jigar Gosai David Webb

Recently we welcomed 27 new electric vehicles (EVs) to our fleet, which means we now have 29 EVs on the road servicing our Sydney customers. This is a first step towards a 100% EV last-mile delivery fleet, which will help toward our commitment to reduce our absolute transport emissions by 60% compared to today, and see over 3,500 fossil-fuelled vehicles removed from our roads over that time. Since June this year, the EV fleet has already saved more than 42,000 litres of fuel and halved emissions per delivery from each EV. Why are the emissions not eliminated completely? That’s because the trucks are still charged from the grid, which is a mix of renewable and fossil fuel sources. As we progress towards our commitment to source 100% renewable electricity by 2025, all electricity from the grid will be matched to a renewable source, so these emissions per delivery will approach zero. That’s something to celebrate on Zero Emissions Day! Congratulations to everyone on the team, and across the Woolworths Group, who are working together toward these commitments and a better tomorrow. #BetterTomorrow #Retail #EVs #sustainability #zeroemissions

Our WooliesX team and the wider Woolworths Group got involved in a number of activities this Wear It Purple Day including Colouring Collaboration Hubs, Drag Bingo fundraiser and Ally Workshop sessions for those interested in how they can best support people in the LGBTQ+ community in their lives. 👋 Say hey to Everyday Mobile from Woolworths! We’re excited to share that Woolworths Mobile has become Everyday Mobile from Woolworths. A change that means we can offer customers and members even more rewards and benefits just for being connected. Our talented team has been working hard to unlock more value for our customers and members at a time when value is more important than ever, and we couldn't be more thrilled to bring our mobile proposition into the Everyday Rewards family. The arrival of Everyday Mobile from Woolworths will be celebrated in an omni-channel campaign launching this week that highlights the benefits our customers and members can enjoy to make their mobile plan count. 🎉Massive congratulations to everyone across Woolworths Group who made this possible. #Everydayrewards #mobile #morevalue #makeyourmobileplancount #makeeverydaycount Pamela Lim, Rod Simmons, Apoorv Malik, Laura H., Amol Deokar Parasuram, Mary Vorillas, Emmanuella Brady, Charlene Porfida, Stephen Xu, Harpreet Singh, Monica George
