The new Cancer Care Centre at The Bays Hospital is now complete! This state-of-the-art facility will transform cancer care in the Mornington Peninsula, being the only centre in the region to provide a comprehensive range of cancer services. With the addition of radiation oncology, wellness programs, and a serene courtyard garden, patients will now have access to treatment and support services without leaving their community and the additional travel burden. A key feature of the project is a specialised radiation bunker for delivering advanced treatments. The Centre is connected to the existing Bays Hospital via a linkway corridor for easy access, and additional parking has been provided to ensure a seamless experience for patients and their families. With this process underway, construction is set to commence in the middle of this year.
