VicScreen CEO Caroline Pitcher and the Minister for Creative Industries Colin Brooks, visited the set of War Machine on Monday, where 150 extras filmed a scene with Hollywood star Dennis Quaid. They met with Victorian producer Greg McLean, actor Blake Richardson and Victorian born director and co-writer Patrick Hughes, who said, "It's been a lifelong dream to bring a Hollywood-style blockbuster home to Australia." 📷: Ben King.

Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) have revealed the 2025 theme, Future Telling, and first look program. 👀 The program will include industry sessions, spotlight speakers, screenings and initiatives, as well as celebrating the 10th anniversary of The FACTory International Pitching Showcase, presented by VicScreen. ⬇️ Learn more here.

VicScreen supported films Memoir of a Snail and Magic Beach have been nominated for this year's Asia Pacific Screen Awards! 🎊 🐌 Memoir of a Snail is up for Best Animated Film and was made in Melbourne. 🏖️ Magic Beach is up for Best Youth Film and was filmed in regional Victoria. 🤞 Best of luck to both films.
