🌟 Groundbreaking Event Recap: AI for Good with Rotary Melbourne & The Royal Society of Victoria 🌟 This past Wednesday, Rotary Melbourne and The Royal Society of Victoria hosted an incredible event at the RSV heritage building, focusing on "AI for Good"—a discussion on what tomorrow should look like, not just what it could look like. At TomorrowX, our purpose and ambitions rely upon trusted partners to introduce important conversations about customising and modernising our existing digital systems and data networks to meet diverse goals in our communities, our corporations, public sector, defence and charitable organisations. Working with the ever-energetic Stephen Joseph Rando from Rotary and Mike Flattley from RSV - and with the leadership and support of Presidents Dr. Chris Sotiropoulos and Rob Gell AM - we were delighted to collaborate on a program that featured thought-provoking presentations and inspiring addresses: 🔹 Arie van Bennekum, cofounder of Agile, joined us from Africa, emphasising the significance of collaboration for delivering value using AI. 🔹 Lorraine Finlay, Australia's Human Rights Commissioner, highlighted the challenges and opportunities AI presents. Our in-person thought leaders delivered remarkable content: - Finbar OHanlon discussed the importance of upgrading our mindset. - A/Professor Magdalena Simonis AM talked about how AI could support the patient-doctor relationship and make our primary healthcare system affordable, showcasing world-first initiatives in AI for healthcare, including digital education for healthcare professionals and collaborative Digital Healthcare Labs for patient-centric, doctor-led solutions with AI. - Dr Dimitrios Salampasis explored the fellowship of AI and fintech. - Aaron Sempf emphasised the value of toolkits (over products) when using AI for solutions that matter. He also noted the significance of data readiness toolkits, like those offered by TomorrowX, in accelerating and controlling data towards launching responsible, secure and trusted AI solutions.
