A recent Friday night was one to remember as Robert and Ruth attended Cinemas Under the Stars at Maitland Park. It was a fantastic night filled with laughter, learning, and some new experiences! Ruth enjoyed her first taste of fairy floss and mastered the art of hula hooping, while Robert sharpened his soccer skills. Nights like these make me grateful for our supportive community and events that bring people together. Here’s to more moments like this! 🌌🍕 #CommunityEvents #MaiWel #MaitlandPark #CinemasUnderTheStars #fullofpossible

🌟 𝗕𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗻🌟 Last Thursday, Mai-Wel's ‘Be Active’ group enjoyed an exciting day of fitness and fun at Stockton. With the support of dedicated team members Karina, Neil, and Celine, participants Benjamin, Nicholas, Thomas, Ian, and Adam walked along the stunning Stockton Breakwall and beach. They wrapped up the day by sharing a classic Aussie treat: chip sandwiches, made with fresh chips and scallops from the local takeaway. This day trip was part of the group's weekly Thursday adventures, where they get to improve mobility and flexibility through engaging outdoor activities. The participants are now looking forward to more exciting activities this block, including Aqua Golf, Swimming, and Tenpin Bowling. Great work to everyone involved for creating such a positive and engaging experience! #TeamMaiWel #FullOfPossible #SupportingAbilities #CommunityEngagement #InclusiveActivities

👏 𝗧𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀👏 Tahlia took big strides toward achieving two of her personal goals: exploring creativity and boosting her fitness. She began her day with a long walk at Walka Water Works, collecting leaves and enjoying the fresh air, all in pursuit of improving her fitness and overall well-being. After returning to the Centre, Tahlia channeled her creativity into a mindful art project, using the leaves she collected to frame a poster featuring a positive affirmation of her choice. The joy and pride on her face were clear as she shared that she “left everyone in her dust” during the walk! 😄 It’s inspiring to see Tahlia embrace her goals with such enthusiasm and determination. We’re incredibly proud of her progress! #TeamMaiWel #SupportingAbilities #FullOfPossible #Mindfulness #Creativity #Wellbeing
