On a recent Red Team engagement, Tesserent were able to gain access to a restricted server room in less than three minutes. We used a public evacuation diagram to plan the attack path, a common elevator key to gain access to the restricted floor, and an Under Door tool to bypass the electronic door control. Job done.   Often though, it doesn't go as smoothly as this…   You might gain access by tailgating a staff member through a secure door, enter the fire escape, then use a door jim to bypass the fire escape door on a secured floor. You Under Door tool your way into the target office on the secured floor, but the access cards you collect from the office are all expired. You can clone them - but you soon realise you need to change the access data if they’re to be of any use. The card format is one you're unfamiliar with.
