AI is clearly taking centre stage in Brisbane! We had a packed house at our in-person Artificial Intelligence session in collaboration with the Queensland AI Hub, a testament to the region's growing momentum in the sector. Was great to host Joel Pobar, TEN13 Venture Partner, and Matthew Lennie from Meta talking all things AI: 📈 Joel brought his unique perspective from working at the cutting edge of AI in his senior role in engineering at Anthropic - where AI is going, will AGI be upon us soon, what are the trends to pursue, how to embrace the technology. 🏦 Matthew Lennie took us deep into the complexities of training a model like Meta's Llama, exploring the talent, power, compute (hello, NVIDIA chips!), and innovation required to make it all happen. Both shared fascinating insights into the rapid pace and direction of AI's evolution.
