About us

One of the largest and most trusted kids' health charities in the country, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) raises funds to help provide all children with access to the best possible healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it. We've been delivering on this promise for the last 35 years, raising millions every year for a collective of two major children’s hospitals, specialised care services and cutting edge paediatric research operating across NSW. A conduit, an enabler and a mechanism for powerful change, we make sure that funds raised go directly to the front line of children’s health care - from the hospitals wards to the treatment rooms, the research labs to the outreach programs. We truly believe there is no possible greater impact for a donated dollar in kids’ health.

  • Last weekend we were privileged to be part of the Running for Premature Babies Kids Fun Run in Coogee. It was a great day with kids of all ages taking part, and we were lucky to be joined by the Newborn & paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS NSW) team at the finish line to show participants how their fundraising helps. A huge thank you to Running for Premature Babies and everyone who came down to support the event and raised funds to support NETS.

  • We are thrilled to support the #SheGives campaign, celebrating the incredible impact of women in philanthropy. Today, we want to shine a spotlight on one of our own major donors, Penny Mapp, who plays a pivotal role in this inspiring movement. Penny, a devoted mother to Avery, has generously contributed to Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation in countless ways. Her most notable gift is the creation of the Albert Shun Outpatients Clinic - a purpose-built space bringing together all the multidisciplinary teams who help care for immunocompromised patients in one dedicated location. This clinic has provided some of our most vulnerable patients with a vital, safe space. The beautiful Avery Garden at the Albert Shun Outpatients Clinic also serves as a serene and healing space for young patients and their families. Join us in celebrating Penny’s unwavering commitment to making a difference and her dedication to improving children's health and well-being. 💖 Learn more about the #SheGives campaign and Penny Mapp's incredible support: https://lnkd.in/gr9JjHMD
