We are proud to say that a number of joint recommendations Suicide Prevention Australia made to the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide were included in the final report. Three joint submissions were made to the Royal Commission with key sector organisations, including Mental Health Australia and Relationships Australia, resulting in 14 recommendations fully addressed and four partly addressed in the final report. We will continue to advocate for the full implementation of the Royal Commission’s recommendations.
