The article reported, ❝In freelancer platform Upwork’s survey of 2,500 knowledge workers in the US, UK, Australia and Canada, 96% of top executives say they expect the use of AI tools to increase their company’s overall productivity levels - with 81% acknowledging they’ve increased demands on workers over the past year. Yet 77% of employees in the survey say AI tools have actually decreased their productivity and added to their workload. And 47% of employees using AI in the survey say they have no idea how to achieve the productivity gains their employers expect. As a result, 61% of people believe that using AI at work will increase their chances of experiencing burnout - rising to 87% of people under 25, as revealed in a separate survey of 1,150 Americans, by CV writing company Resume Now. Resume Now’s survey also highlights how 43% of people feel AI will negatively impact work-life balance.❞ Link to the article in the comments below.

❝Canva has attributed the increase to its investment into its AI-powered design tools that have become a major focus for the business over the past 12 months.❞ Lesson: The ‘cheap’ AI tools that you use is just an introductory price. AI is expensive. In due time, prices will rise to recoup their investment into AI.

Following the article about Google not going to index much of the web, maybe that article's idea is half right. Is Google going to abandon its mission of indexing the world's information and making it accessible? No, not so fast. Yes, Google is not going to index the entire web. But its mission continues, but with a twist for the better.

There is anecdotal indications that Google is fundamentally changing the concept of its search engine: ❝Google is no longer trying to index the entire web. In fact, it's become extremely selective, refusing to index most content. This isn't about content creators failing to meet some arbitrary standard of quality. Rather, it's a fundamental change in how Google approaches its role as a search engine. From my experience, Google now seems to operate on a "default to not index" basis. It only includes content in its index when it perceives a genuine need.❞
