📢 Are you working to measure the social impact of your funding, investment or grantmaking? 📢 If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you... Introducing our Social Impact Measurement in Funding, Investment and Grantmaking Award! This award recognises organisations that use social impact measurement to inform and structure their decision-making across their investment or grantmaking portfolio. Who can apply? Trusts and foundations, impact investors, government bodies (local, state/territory, federal), social enterprises, businesses or any other organisations who are funding activities with intended social impact. Your social impact measurement work can be at any stage: planning, pilot, or established. Hear from past winner Equity Trustees on why participating in the SIMNA awards was such a valuable experience for them: “It was a joy to participate in the SIMNA Awards. It gave Equity Trustees the opportunity to reflect on the value of social impact measurement – and how important it is for funders to invest in impact measurement. The true joy in winning was from our partnership with Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project and their desire to help children to thrive.” Don't miss this chance to showcase your commitment to measuring and maximising social impact! We're delighted to share this inspiring testimonial from Hayball, our 2023 Innovation in Social Impact Measurement Award winners: “SIMNA is an incredible organisation bringing together many professionals, across many industries, who are interested in measuring impact. By receiving the Innovation Award, both Hayball and the ASVB had the opportunity to connect with experts nationally and globally to make measuring social value genuinely more accessible for architects in Australia. It’s opened many doors to conversations and new relationships – we are so thankful.” Eilish Barry, Hayball (2023 Winner) Hayball clinched the award for their pioneering efforts in measuring the social value of design and architecture in Australia. Recognising the significant impact of architecture on people's well-being and communities, they identified a crucial gap: the lack of a quantitative method to assess this impact in Australia. They partnered with the Australian Social Value Bank (ASVB) to curate a framework with 15 key social outcomes and design features they can utilise to achieve social value through design. They tested this framework in a pilot study at CRT+YRD, a residential project in Melbourne, using resident surveys. Their pilot study proposed a method to assess social value through qualitative, quantitative and monetised data and concludes with recommendations for translating the study’s findings in practice for architects and collaboration with the wider industry. 🌟 The 2024 SIMNA Awards present an exciting opportunity for your organisation to showcase its innovations in social impact measurement. 🌟 Apply today and join the ranks of trailblazers making a difference through impactful measurement 👉 https://lnkd.in/g34bQ5p4
