"Counterfeit products cost ANZ brand owners huge amounts in exports; this technology will prevent this from happening," said Michael Dossor in the PKN Packaging News article. Veracity Protocol’s innovative technology brings product verification to the next level without altering existing printing processes or materials. No extra pre-press steps, watermarks, holograms, or special tech needed - just capture an image during production, and the system instantly detects counterfeits. Consumers can verify products with a standard smartphone camera, making this solution both simple and effective. Result Group proudly brings this unique solution to the Australian and New Zealand markets, enhancing security, authenticity, and transparency across various sectors. Day 2 Highlights from the National Food Waste Summit End Food Waste Australia! Did you know that food waste accounts for 10% of Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions and costs our economy a staggering $36.6 billion annually? With 70% of this waste being edible, there's a lot at stake, and a lot we can change. End Food Waste Australia and its partners have made great strides, but there’s still a long way to go. This summit has been packed with insights, research, and actionable strategies to cut down food waste even further. It's not just educational - it's challenging us to do more and offering fantastic networking opportunities. Now… we have to go away and think what we can do to stop food waste from ending up in landfills…. Some key takeaways are: - Regulation/stricter laws - Tax Incentives: a new Bill in the Senate proposes tax breaks for food donations - Industry deep collaboration: brands need to join the Australian Food Pact And a very exciting news! Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) Save Food Packaging Design guidelines project, developed with RMIT University and the companies collaborated including Result Group, won the Food Waste Action Collaborative Award! A special congrats to Ruby Chan, PhD 👏 This summit has shown that we’re making real progress. Together, we’re on track to make a significant impact by 2030. The journey continues, and so does our commitment to a sustainable future. P.S Michael Dossor is speaking this afternoon…stay tuned. #EndFoodWaste #Sustainability #FoodWasteSummit #Innovation #Collaboration #SustainableFuture Nerida Kelton FAIP Phil May MAIP Steve Lapidge Dean Parsons #PIDA2024
