About us

Project Strategy is a team of PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS that recognises each project is unique and requires a tailored strategy to maximimise the development outcome. Project Strategy utilises its extensive previous experience, in the capacity as both a Developer and Contractor, to fully comprehend the project risk profile and the key deliverables of each stakeholder, ensuring that the Project Strategy is expertly developed, robustly tested, agreed and implemented from inception to completion of the project. When implementing the Project Strategy we take a pragmatic approach to development and leverage off past experiences to actively direct the development process. The risk profile of the Developer is mitigated by: • Assembling an appropriate and experienced design team; • Robustly testing all concepts and designs; • Reviewing, understanding and critiquing all documentation; • Compiling succinct documentation to engage the Contractor; • Negotiating all claims; and • Making pragmatic, commercial recommendations on all issues.

Commencement of our Campbellfield project for Cabot Properties was marked recently by a sod turning ceremony. Qanstruct has completed demolition of the existing buildings, and with site preparation well progressed; they have commenced erection of the structural steel and precast. Our Project Manager, Jack Sanguinetti looks forward to the challenge of integrating tenant requirements through all phases of the project. We thank Cabot Properties for trusting us with management of another project, this being our 7th engagement with them.

Despite an extended period of challenging weather throughout the first half of this year, the tireless work of Pramod Sahye and Lachlan Quadrell from our Queensland team has ensured our projects with Aliro Group are making significant progress towards completion in the latter half of 2024. At Ellison Estate Geebung, FDC Construction & Fitout are progressing into the completion stages of the project, and will deliver 34,800sqm of premium industrial warehousing and logistics space across 18 tenancies. The target for Stage 1 completion is in August 2024 and Stage 2 completion late in the year. Elevation at Greystanes is really starting to come together, as multiple projects approach Practical Completion. FDC Construction & Fitout are on the home stretch with the Harris Farm Markets ambient/temperature-controlled distribution centre. Qanstruct are progressing on Building 3 and the Building 6 speculative freezer, and implementing fitout works for the recently secured tenants. AWJ Civil are completing the Estate infrastructure works and preparation of Building 7 pad to handover to Texco Construction for commencement of construction. Our Project Manager Sean King has excelled in managing the 4 Contractors and 3 Tenants across a complex Estate. We thank the Aliro Group team for the opportunity to work collaboratively with them, and the respective Contractors across the estate.

Project Milestone Practical Completion was achieved recently on Cleanaway Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at Glendenning. The MRF was constructed by FDC Construction & Fitout and is a 11,248sqm purpose-built facility to manage the recovery of recyclable material from domestic and commercial waste streams. Project Strategy was initially engaged by Cleanaway Waste Management, and managed development of concept plans and brief, and site assessment and acquisition. After assessing close to 20 sites, and the subsequent acquisition and negotiation of a lease back agreement, Project Strategy was engaged by Charter Hall to manage the SSDA, contractor tender and engagement, and delivery of the project. Cleanaway and their process contractor, Australian Bale Press Company, were provided with early access to commence installation on an extensive materials handling installation. This will continue for some months now that PC has been achieved. The project includes indigenous artwork as incorporated in all Cleanaway projects. The stunning artwork by Jamie Eastwood and Danny Eastwood is featured on the sprinkler tanks in lieu of screening. Sean King has managed the construction and the complex integration of the process handling installation. Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative Photos: FDC Construction & Fitout

Last week saw our first team building day, with all Project Strategy team members from Victoria and Queensland coming together in Sydney along with the NSW team. The team enjoyed inspections of key projects and a presentation by Andrew Simons and Matthew Cox from our valued client Charter Hall, on their expectations of our team in their projects. A “contractor negotiation workshop” was held on Friday comprising axe throwing at Kiss My Axe Alexandria, where Lachlan Quadrell was crowned the champion negotiator. The team looks forward to implementing their new found negotiation skills. #teambuilding #kissmyaxe #industrial #sydney

Today is RU OK? Day. It’s a reminder to check in with the people around you and to make some time to have conversations about how they are feeling and coping with life. The Project Strategy offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane took time out this morning over coffee and morning tea to talk about the importance of RU OK? Day, and being there for our colleagues, clients and contractors on the sites we visit. To let those around you know that we are here to hear, and genuinely listening to what they have to say. Not just today, but every day. #RUOKDAY2023 #heretohear
