What an incredible showcase of sportsmanship and talent at this year’s Police and Emergency Games. Police Bank’s Dave Hudson, Robert Redfern, and Boyd Stewart were on hand to support our officers at the launch, with Rob & Boyd taking up the invitation from the NSW Police Golf Club to participate in the first round of the golf tournament. We’re proud to stand by officers and emergency workers supporting their health and wellbeing through social sports.

It was an honour to attend the Police Federation of Australia 2024 National Police Bravery Awards in Melbourne. Police Bank extends heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Sergeant Michael Hutchinson and Inspector Amy Scott – the two deserving recipients of this year’s award. On April 13, Scott confronted and shot the individual behind the Bondi Junction massacre. Acting alone Amy showed exceptional bravery in her actions in both subduing the man and her attempt to save his life by performing CPR. Last November Hutchinson demonstrated remarkable bravery, putting his life on the line to subdue the armed offender, and sustaining multiple serious wounds. Despite his own injuries Michael administered CPR to his partner Brevet Sergeant Jason Doig in an effort to save his life. It was incredible to come together as a community to see these heroes recognised for their courageous acts. Supporting the brave men and women of our police force is why Police Bank exists.
