About us
PEDESTRIAN.TV is the house of pop culture, giving a voice to the things young Aussies actually give a shit about. Covering everything from entertainment, music, sports, food, tech, style and everything in between, PTV is 100% bullshit-free, 100% of the time. Kicking off back in 2005, when Kim Kardashian was still best known for carrying Paris Hilton’s shopping bags, PTV started as a world-first ‘Plastizine’ (DVD magazine, for the uninitiated), resonating with young Aussies in an entirely new way. Since then, PTV has continued to kick massive goals, whether it’s taking home Media Brand Of The Year at the Mumbrella Awards for two consecutive years (2015 + 2016), or working on mammoth campaigns with giants like McDonald’s, Nike, Telstra, Microsoft, CommBank and more.

You can take the gal out of TV WEEK, but you can't take the love of the TV WEEK Logies out of the gal! On Sunday, Rebekah Manibog and I hit the Logies on behalf of PEDESTRIAN.TV to bring as much signature chaos to the red carpet as possible. It was an absolute blast to get glammed up to have a chat with some of the biggest names in television and celebrate the incredible Aussie TV industry. Once the carpet wrapped up — and we ditched the heels — Bek and I produced multiple videos, articles, carousels and a TikTok live across PEDESTRIAN.TV's social media channels in the cheeky tone we're known for. Thankfully, our hustle paid off and our exclusive content received millions of views within a day of the event, proving that even events like the Logies (which, let's be honest, doesn't exactly scream Gen Z) can be interesting content drivers for a youth audience. I'm stoked that my third Logies was an absolute success and I'm already excited to hit the carpet for Logies 2025. Yahooo!

Had an absolute blast covering the Olympics for PEDESTRIAN.TV (yes, the early mornings were most certainly worth it.) From the Olympic Village food drama, to THAT viral choccy muffin, it was brilliant to see so many young Aussies plug in to our videos and resulted in some huge wins across Instagram and TikTok with over 13 million (geo-blocked) views. Miss it already 😭 but relive the hype with some of my favourite videos below.

"Let this act as a reminder — it’s these cases when it’s important to remember that every little comment, every tiny microaggression or 'joke' adds up. Brick by brick it breaks down the legitimacy and respect that women have fought for in spaces that were once only occupied by men, especially in sport." — Laura Masia 👏 👏 👏

Pleasure to be interviewed by PEDESTRIAN.TV about the Inquiry into Women’s Pain, a Victorian Government initiative I’m a spokesperson for! Thank you to journalist Laura Masia for asking such thoughtful questions and representing my experience. I hope lots of women complete the survey — it’s linked in that article — as it will help the government distribute the $153M they have set aside to address the way women’s pain is treated in Australia.

A rare LinkedIn post from me (who is she, etc) to shout about this week! We held the first ever PEDESTRIAN TELEVISION Awards (sponsored by Uber Pool) on Wednesday, and it was a cracker. Some highlights: ▶ Presenting Anna Paul with the Creator of the Year Award, as voted by our chronically online PEDESTRIAN.TV readers ▶ Interviewing Bri Lee, the author every cool person you know is reading (and who inspired this post): https://buff.ly/4cnmjsC ▶ Watching PTV queens Laura Masia, Rebekah Manibog and Rachel Choy kill it on the red carpet (example a: https://buff.ly/45GIWFP) ▶ Lucinda Price making me cry with laughter on hosting duties ▶ Ultimate party wranglers James McManus and Olivia Watts proving again why they're the best in the biz ▶ This one pic that makes me look like I won an award (I didn't, as the last photo proves) Weird week for media in general, but one to celebrate as well!
