Ord Minnett is pleased to be acting as Joint Lead Manager to the Metrics Credit Partners Real Estate Multi-Strategy Fund (ASX:MRE) on its ~$303.0 million initial public offering (IPO) which commenced trading on the ASX today. Proceeds from the IPO will be invested in accordance with the investment mandate. MRE provides investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of private commercial real estate investments. MRE invests across the capital structure and aims to deliver a target total return of 10% - 12% per annum. Ord Minnett is pleased to support MRE in its initial public offering which will enable the Manager to pursue numerous attractive investment opportunities in Australian commercial real estate. It was an absolute pleasure hosting a morning tea for Olympian, silver medallist and recent Ords intern Abby Andrews this week in our Brisbane office. Abby was an instrumental team member of the Aussie Stingers in Paris, which brought home silver for Australia in the women’s water polo. Congratulations to our four graduates who have completed Ord Minnett’s first ever Graduate Program and have all successfully started new roles as Private Wealth Assistants and a Research Associate. Over a six-month period, the graduates gained experience by rotating throughout Operations, Research, and Private Wealth or Corporate Finance. Ord Minnett’s Graduate Program is designed to invest in the next generation, and thanks to the success of this year’s program, we’re looking forward to welcoming a new cohort in 2025.

Ord Minnett is pleased to have acted as joint financial adviser to Auswide Bank Ltd in the successful execution of a binding Scheme Implementation Agreement to merge with MyState Limited. In conjunction, Ord Minnett is also pleased to have acted as Sole Lead Manager, Underwriter and Bookrunner to Auswide’s $12 million institutional placement, associated with Auswide entering into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of Selfco, an established non-bank SME asset finance lender. #OrdMinnett

Congratulations to the Aussie Stingers and Aussie Sharks on an incredible Olympic campaign. Our women’s Stingers team won their first ever silver medal, while our men’s Sharks team made it through to the quarterfinals.
