Last week, a VIP (Very Important Purple) touched down on Aussie shores - a McDonald's icon, Grimace! After delivering a teaser announcement at the AFL - Australian Football League Grand Final, our Macca’s team rolled out an immersive weeklong OOH takeover across Sydney Airport in partnership with JCDecaux Australia and Sydney Airport, giving Grimace the full celebrity treatment as he made his grand entrance. Grimace’s tour kicked off with a stop by the Today Show, where hosts Alex and Sarah enjoyed an exclusive taste test of the new Grimace Shake and Meal. Like any A-lister in Australia, he’s been making the rounds: chatting with Kyle and Jackie O, cheering on the NRL Grand Final from the field, and taking in Sydney’s sights with a little help from Broadsheet. All of this, of course, supports a nationwide campaign rolling out across TV, OOH, OLV, BVOD, Digital Audio, Display, Meta, and TikTok! 💜
