🩷 Nurse Next Door Gippsland has been providing care to Kevin for almost 2 years. Forty years ago, a fateful motorcycle accident when Kevin was just 18 years old resulted in a helicopter airlift to hospital that Kevin is glad he can't remember. A simple question “What did you used to love doing but no longer do?" prompted Kevin to joke to his caregiver Rory, that he once flew in a helicopter but he would like to do that again in a better way. Recognising Kevin's passion for adventure, Rory, suggested taking another helicopter ride, but this time creating a more positive experience and with the help of Nurse Next Door, organised the flight of his dreams over Gippsland's beautiful heritage listed wetlands and 90 Mile Beach.
