Congratulations to Clare (Odie) O'Driscoll, KC-30A Maintenance Operations Manager, who was named Engineering Professional of the Year at the Australian Aviation Awards last night for the second consecutive year. Now that’s Defining Possible! Odie is an integral member of the KC30A Program at Pinkenba and RAAF Base Amberley, and is responsible for overseeing maintenance execution and maintenance support services. As a woman working in the Defence Industry, Odie has always led by example as a role model for other women, establishing a women’s network for technical trade staff while in the RAAF who provide personal and professional support to women. #DefiningPossible

The Royal Australian Air Force's second MQ-4C Triton left our Palmdale, CA location and arrived at NAVAIR this morning where it will undergo testing before it heads to Australia. Triton is a critical capability for Australia due to the vulnerability to disruption of sea lines of communication and supply. The Triton fleet will enable greater tasking flexibility for the RAAF while providing superior surveillance capability to monitor and protect Australia’s maritime interests 24/7.

We are pleased to announce two important appointments to our leadership in Australia as we re-orient to support the ADF’s transition to an integrated, focused force Deanne Barnett has been appointed Managing Director for Northrop Grumman Australia and will now lead NGA’s business operations. Deanne has very successfully been our Director of Sustainment and Modernisation since 2021 having previously held a number of leadership positions across Australian industry following her service as a logistics officer for the Royal Australian Air Force. We expect our new Country Executive to be in place by the new year. In the meantime, Andrew “Jake” Campbell, Director of Strategy, Air and Space, has accepted the role of Interim Country Executive. Jake and Deanne will work closely with outgoing Chief Executive, Christine Zeitz, who retires at the end of September to ensure a smooth transition and deliver uninterrupted support to our customers and industry partners. #DefiningPossible

We had a great time at the Pacific Airshow on the Gold Coast last weekend. Not only was it a fantastic event but, thanks to our friends at Aviation Australia, we got to talk to over 1,000 people during the three days about the range of aviation careers Northrop Grumman Australia offers.
