Join us in welcoming 2024 NLA Fellow, Dr Caren Florance to the Library! Caren is an academic, writer and cross-disciplinary artist. Her research project will investigate our role in the history of contemporary Australian artist books. Her fellowship research topic is on the National Library of Australia’s artist book relationship with the Canberra School of Art’s Graphic Investigation Workshop from 1984-1998. We look forward to hearing more about her research.

Last week some of our Indigenous staff members, Robyn, Rochelle, Keeaira and Kalem, hosted a booth at the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF). They met with many CIAF visitors, including creative professionals and artists, to talk through Trove research and our many Library services and resources. Robyn, Rochelle and Keeaira also spoke about Trove in the yarning circle on Sunday.
