Today we take a moment to acknowledge International Women’s Day 🙌   A day to celebrate the achievements of women in our industry and thank those who support and uplift them.     Meet the crew who were the first all-female crew to operate on our Q400 aircraft last year.   “It was a very special and memorable flight for the whole crew, knowing that we were the first but most certainly not the last is a great feeling. NATIONAL JET EXPRESS EXPANDS FLEET & NETWORK ✈️🗺️   NJE has added another aircraft to its fleet, with its seventh Embraer E190 aircraft touching down in Perth.   NJE’s interim Chief Operating Officer, Robin Furber, said, “NJE’s fleet expansion underscores our commitment to servicing the ever-growing demand of the resource sectors for a reliable carrier with modern and fuel-efficient aircraft.”   NJE has also just launched regular E190 services between Perth and the brand new West Musgrave Airport, located in remote Western Australia near the South Australian and Northern Territory borders. Today we announced National Jet Express (NJE) has secured a further two long-term mining contracts in Western Australia:   🏆 New twice weekly charter flights between Perth and Kalgoorlie and Kambalda for a mining company in the Goldfields region using both Embraer E190 and De Havilland Dash 8-400NG aircraft; and   🏆 New three times weekly charter flights between Perth and Woodie Woodie for Consolidated Minerals using E190 aircraft.   Chris Hine, NJE Managing Director said, “These two new contracts in our largest base in Western Australia demonstrate that the Mining and Resources Industry recognises the Rex Group and NJE as the premier provider of FIFO services in Australia. National Jet Express continues to reach new heights, announcing it will operate new #Brisbane to #Cairns RPT flights for Rex Airlines ✈️ The new route will be operated by NJE's modern, fuel efficient De Havilland Q400NG aircraft from 22 November. “Access to NJE resources opens up a world of possibilities for Rex and allows us to look closely at the viability of flying to more major Queensland coastal cities and major tourist destinations. National Jet Express has announced a significant expansion of its presence in Queensland after winning several new contracts.   📍 New twice weekly charter flights Cairns-Townsville-Moranbah as well as an additional weekly Brisbane-Moranbah flight for existing client BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA); 📍 New weekly charter flights between Brisbane and Emerald and Moranbah; 📍 New weekly charter flights between Brisbane and Rockhampton.   These services, which will commence across October and November 2023, will all be using NJE’s modern and fuel-efficient De Havilland Dash 8-400NG aircraft and will significantly grow NJE’s presence on the East Coast.   “NJE intends to be the first port of call for resource companies that seek premium, reliable air services in modern aircraft with a greatly reduced carbon footprint,” said Chris Hine, Managing Director of NJE.   "These new contracts, so soon after our launch in Queensland in July this year, clearly demonstrate that we are on the right trajectory to achieve our objective." 🔗 Read our media release at https://lnkd.in/gC_znbCb   #NJE #nationaljetexpress #thefutureofFIFO #theRexGroup

It was an incredible week in Singapore recently for #APATS2023, the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium. NJE’s Engineering Training Manager, Stuart Membrey lead the room as moderator for the maintenance stream. 🛠️✈️ “We had some engaged and insightful conversations and outstanding presentations across all the conference streams about the future of aviation training. It’s really important to get together, network, make connections and learn from industry leaders.
