It was amazing to see so much engagement from all across the country in our #SaveCommunityLegalCentres social media national day of action this week. Here are just some of the photos we saw shared, calling on the government to #FundFrontlineServices

Community Legal Centres Australia strongly supports significant additional funding for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services, Family Violence Prevention and Legal Services, and Aboriginal community-controlled community legal centres. The next National Legal Assistance Partnership Agreement MUST enshrine and give full effect to the National Closing the Gap Priority Principles and invest in strong community-controlled legal assistance services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Great to know that there is so much support for the vital work community legal centres do amongst national leaders from across the political spectrum. Today we launched our #SaveCommunityLegalCentres - End the funding crisis campaign at Parliament House, Canberra. Heartfelt thanks to Zoe Daniel MP and David Pocock for co hosting our event and for your tireless support to keep the pressure on government decision makers to #FundFrontlineServices and ensure that people and communities can continue to access the local, wraparound services they rely on to stay safe, housed, and financially secure.
