The Nyiyaparli People and Mutual Trust Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced individual to be the Independent Member of the Decision Making Committee (DMC) for the Nyiyaparli Direct Benefits Trust and Nyiyaparli Charitable Trust. The Independent Member will provide financial, management and corporate governance advice and support to the DMC, sitting as a member of the DMC with the Nyiyaparli member representatives and Trustee Representative. As an initial two year appointment, commencing in November 2024, the successful candidate will attend approximately one meeting per month or every eight weeks, along with two meetings of the Nyiyaparli People each year (June and December).  Meetings are held in person, on country, in either Newman or South Hedland, and occasionally in Perth.
