Yesterday it was team social time. We wrapped up the day with a walk in support of the Black Dog Institute One Foot Forward Challenge, a cause that means so much to us. We walked, we talked, shaking off the cobwebs and enjoying the Melbourne afternoon sunshine (albeit cold sunshine 🥶!) But the day didn’t stop there; afterwards, we enjoyed an afternoon of games at the park, laughing, competing, and taking the time to connect outside the office. We're proud to support the Black Dog Institute for the fourth year and contribute to a cause that makes a difference. Let's show people with mental illness that we're in this together. Funds raised will help Black Dog Institute put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most. That’s why Alexander Andrews, Ella Kempton and I recently completed our Mental Health First Aid training. Thanks to Nicholas Bloom, we learnt how to recognise the symptoms of a person who may be experiencing a mental health illness or crisis, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide someone towards treatment and support. Anyone can have a conversation that may save a life. Thanks Nic for a safe, insightful and informative session.
